Annual Teacher's Conference

I'm still working with the snail connection to upload the pictures taken during the annual teacher's conference from sept. 17 to sept. 24 at Chuuk High School in Chuuk. Large numbers of educators and community leaders participated. Classes on various educational subjects were offered during the week.

First day of school turned bloody

A first grader was hit by a red pick-up truck and confimed dead later in the afternoon. This was the first day of school in Chuuk and she was gonna be one of our student at Iras Demo. The driver was a retired Weno Municipal Judge. I can only hope we have age restriction on our Chuukese drivers to keep the road save for our children

Trip to Piis Paneu

Saturday morning me and my women organization from our Parish Holy Family will go on a trip to the small island called Piis Paneu. Today's weather is very rough but I wish tomorrow will be calm and windy so we have to enjoy our trip to the island.

A picture from Friday (our last class)

Justin and Hermino showed up early at the hotel. They called me from downstairs and said they want to ask some questions. We went to the pier and took a bunch of nice pictures. We talked about classes of course. They then picked up two pizza (trukstop brand) and we drove to COM for our last class. Here is Hermino and Justin with that striking pink truck.

Chuuk Dive's Wreck

Chuuk is one of the beautifull island for snorkel diving. The ship wreck really beautified the deepest ocean in the chuuk lagoon. Many foreigners already enjoyed the taste of the ship wreck paradise. So, if you were not experiencing yet, please come and try it so you can extend the invitations to all your friends.

Introduction from Minjuan (the visitor!)

I am visiting the island this week. This blog is created as part of our class work (EDTEC 572). Please visit us often!
